CHAS AND DAVE on DVD

I'm very saddened indeed by Chas Hodges' recent passing. As well as seeing him perform live (with and without Dave Peacock) many times, I also met him three times, including twice at Jerry Lee Lewis concerts. I've been fortunate enough to have met many of the greats, but I can honestly say that Chas was one of the very best. R.I.P. Chas Hodges!

CILLA BLACK on DVD

It took a dramatized series about her life and her subsequent tragic death to achieve it, but Cilla Black is at last being appreciated for her music again, instead of just as a mainstream family entertainer. "The EMI Years" is a superb 3-disc compilation covering the years 1963 - 1978; the first "Cilla! set features 2 episodes of her 1968 - 1969 TV series, and the 2nd disc of "Cilla!" features 4 episodes from the '70's. Wanted, more Cilla Black (1963 - 1967 era preferred), also more complete episodes of her '60's - '70's TV shows!

GENE VINCENT on DVD

Although strangely overlooked in his homeland, Gene Vincent is rightly remembered in Europe as one of the greatest rockers. Newly compiled from upgraded sources, this collection covers the years from 1956 to 1969. Wanted, more Gene Vincent!

HERMAN’S HERMITS on DVD

With success that spanned from the beat group / British Invasion explosion right up until the start of the '70's, Herman's Hermits released far more great records than they're generally credited with. This epic 3-disc set features all known footage from 1964 - 1970, as well as a handful of '70's Peter Noone TV appearances.  Wanted, more Herman's Hermits (Peter Noone-led group only!).

JOHNNY KIDD and THE PIRATES on DVD

One of the most exciting live acts of the '70's & '80's (& still great in the '00's), this collection features some of The Pirates' finest performances on film. What you won't see on here though is any footage featuring Johnny Kidd (just an interesting documentary), as none is known to survive... though I'd love to be proven wrong!

MARTY ROBBINS on DVD

One of the greatest voices in country music, some of his early singles were also surprisingly tough pop and rockabilly recordings. This DVD collects together his TV appearances from that era.

LINDA GAIL LEWIS on DVD

More than just Jerry Lee Lewis' little sister, Linda Gail Lewis remains a huge talent in her own right. "Anthology" spans the many highlights of her entire career, including duets with her brother and 3-part harmonies with her daughters as "The Lewis 3" but excluding her duets with Van Morrison; these are instead collected together on "Forever Hits". Lastly but not least, "A Rock 'n' Roll Night" is an exclusive expanded version of a long-deleted official release featuring Swedish keyboard wizard Micke Muster.
